About the Role

The Expert Technical Support (L3) role is the highest level of customer technical support at Schneider Electric, operating within the central Business Unit and collaborating closely with global Quality, R&D, and Marketing teams. The engineer provides technical support for Schneider Electric Power Quality Devices. • Resolve customer technical support incidents in the Salesforce‑based BFO platform, coordinating with R&D, Quality, and Marketing to ensure timely case completion. • Analyze and fix product malfunctions or gather site data for R&D analysis using technical expertise. • Maintain regular communication with customers and provide status updates for prolonged issues. • Update the Technical Knowledge Base by creating FAQ documents in text or video format. • Incorporate field experience and customer feedback into Offer Creation and Issue‑to‑Prevention processes. • Develop and deliver technical training for Advanced Technical Support Centers (Level 2).

What You Bring

Key competencies include deep knowledge of low‑voltage power factor correction, active harmonic filters, dynamic voltage restorers, and relevant national and international standards (IEEE, IEC, EN). Familiarity with LV electrical distribution, PCC and MCC panels, single‑line diagrams, power‑quality phenomena, variable frequency drives, UPS, VSD, and communication protocols such as Modbus and TCP is required. Prior experience as a Schneider Electric Power Quality Product Application Expert is a strong advantage. Full professional proficiency in English is required. Qualifications include a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Power‑Systems Engineering. Candidates should preferably have over 10 years of experience in the energy utility sector, especially with low‑voltage power factor correction methods, variable frequency drives, harmonic filters, or related technologies. The ideal profile is customer‑focused, proactive, and possesses excellent written and oral communication skills. Occasional short‑term travel to customer sites may be required.
