About the Role
The Regional Manager is tasked with addressing field‑based assignments within a designated region, specific “store‑within‑a‑store” locations, and on a national scale. Their primary objective is to rehabilitate these sites, restoring performance to operational standards and profitability goals, and ensuring a smooth transition back to regular management. They act as an agile operator, adapt to business needs, and maintain proactive communication with the Regional Director on all operational aspects. Assignments may last up to ten weeks, requiring rapid relocation and full managerial responsibility for daily operations, talent acquisition, and learning & development. The Regional Manager oversees the entire talent acquisition process for sales representatives and may also participate in store manager interviews. • Address field‑based assignments across regions, specific “store‑within‑a‑store” sites, and nationally. • Rehabilitate underperforming locations to meet operational standards and profitability goals. • Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Director on all operational matters. • Relocate quickly for assignments up to 10 weeks and assume full managerial duties. • Oversee daily operations, talent acquisition, and learning & development initiatives. • Manage end‑to‑end talent acquisition for sales representatives and assist with store manager interviews. • Supervise Bass Pro and GWL retail locations in Manteca, Rocklin, and San Jose, CA.
