About the Role

The current opportunity is for an HVAC Service Technician who will perform service work and site maintenance for national accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction while following blueprints and engineering specifications. The role involves regular travel and occasional overnight trips as needed. • Service products and equipment on assigned projects to ensure customer satisfaction. • Use hand tools and follow blueprints/engineering specs to diagnose and repair units. • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations. • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed. • Prepare for on‑site installation and repairs by reviewing building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work. • Inspect and maintain company vehicles, keeping service records and scheduling repairs. • Inspect equipment for wear and notify customer or Operations Manager of findings. • Complete required paperwork for each job, including daily time, progress, duration, and maintain files. • Serve as the direct customer contact representing the company. • Determine and order parts needed for repairs promptly. • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor, and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources. • Submit all required paperwork and reports in a timely manner. • Stay current on product installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair specifications. • Read and interpret product specifications. • Provide technical support to customers. • Travel regularly, with occasional overnight trips as needed.
