About the Role

The Debt Analyst role focuses exclusively on the placement of debt and/or equity for commercial real‑estate transactions. Analysts are involved in every stage of a deal—including underwriting, market research, property tours, offering memorandum preparation, marketing, term‑sheet negotiation, closing, and client events—while working in a high‑energy, team‑focused environment. Key responsibilities include preparing debt/equity offering memorandums with research, financial modeling and executive summaries; building complex financial models; managing due‑diligence, marketing and closing processes; maintaining constant communication with producers, markets and clients; reviewing real‑estate documents for potential issues; recommending financing alternatives; and developing a client network through meetings, events and industry organizations. Analysts also participate in weekly producer meetings to discuss deal flow, market conditions and new leads, and handle other duties as assigned. • Prepare debt/equity offering memorandums with research, financial modeling, and executive summaries. • Build and maintain complex financial models for commercial real‑estate transactions. • Lead due‑diligence, marketing, and closing processes while coordinating with producers, markets, and clients. • Analyze real‑estate documents (leases, loan agreements, appraisals) to identify potential issues. • Recommend financing alternatives and present solutions to producers and clients. • Develop a client network through meetings, events, and industry organizations. • Participate in weekly producer meetings to discuss deal flow, market conditions, and new leads.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in a financial analysis environment, preferably within mortgage or commercial real‑estate. They are self‑motivated, team‑oriented, and possess strong time‑management, organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills, allowing them to interface effectively with top‑level executives and analyze both qualitative and quantitative information. A Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) is required. Candidates should have intermediate proficiency with Outlook, Excel and Word, with Argus and database experience considered a plus. • Possess 1–3 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in mortgage or commercial real‑estate. • Demonstrate strong time‑management, organizational, quantitative, writing, and communication skills. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related field; Argus and database experience a plus. • Proficient with Outlook, Excel, and Word at an intermediate level. • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship provided.

Compensation includes a base salary estimated between $60,000 and $70,000 per year, eligibility for a discretionary bonus, and no visa sponsorship.
