About the Role
The foreman supports all phases of utility construction on a variety of telecom projects, ensuring work is completed correctly and efficiently. Responsibilities include overseeing daily schedules, directing on-site activities, maintaining documentation, and communicating with supervisors. The role also involves managing safety perimeters and leading in-house aerial crews. • Install and repair aerial CATV, coaxial, and fiber cable. • Place, relocate, and remove poles, lines, open-wire, and block wire. • Set up safety perimeters using signage, cones, and barriers. • Review project plans, specifications, and installation instructions for compliance. • Direct on-site job activities and lead in-house aerial crews. • Complete required documentation and record crew time. • Communicate with area supervisors or managers. • Oversee daily schedules, deliveries, and crew productivity.

What You Bring
Successful candidates have at least three years of telecommunications construction experience and a strong grasp of CATV, coax, and fiber systems. They are comfortable working in bucket trucks, climbing poles, operating diggers, and handling heavy loads. Certifications such as OSHA 10/30, CPR, flagging, and pole-climbing, plus customer-specific training, are required, along with proven leadership and problem-solving abilities. • Minimum 3 years telecom construction experience. • Proficient in coax splicing, fiber splicing, directional drilling, aerial and underground work. • Comfortable operating bucket trucks, climbing poles, and handling loads up to 70 lb. • OSHA 10/30 certification, CPR, flagging, and pole-climbing credentials. • Customer-specific training (e.g., Charter, AT&T, Lumen, Frontier). • Ability to operate digger and Derek truck. • Capable of reading work orders and CTV cable prints. • Available for on-call work, evenings, and weekends. • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and safety focus.
