Associate Commercial Director - MEP

About the Role

You will champion safety, quality, sustainability and compliance, while building strong client and consultant relationships and supporting the net‑zero carbon transition. You will also mentor and develop the commercial team, influence strategy, and ensure fiscal and ethical viability of operations. • Manage cost and contract administration for MEP packages, ensuring profitability and risk mitigation. • Advise on suitable procurement routes and required administrative procedures. • Oversee the procurement process, reporting outcomes and leading the commercial team. • Handle variations, claims and final accounts while meeting CVR targets. • Develop and maintain client and consultant relationships for current and future work. • Drive net‑zero carbon initiatives and manage carbon emissions during project delivery. • Lead safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with local health and safety regulations. • Mentor, coach and develop project team members, fostering knowledge sharing. • Influence long‑term strategy and ensure fiscal and ethical compliance with legislation. • Build a high‑performing commercial team, chair project meetings and improve processes.

What You Bring

• Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management, with CSCS and SMSTS certifications. • Member of a professional body (MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE) and possess deep construction management expertise.
