About the Role
The Welder will carry out cladding on machined parts to a high degree of quality and work independently to meet the plant's production schedule, handling various components related to gas and steam turbine repairs. The position may require flexing between first and second shift as needed, and flexible working patterns are supported, though co‑location in a UK office is encouraged. • Perform visual and in‑process inspections per API and ISO quality specifications • Overlay components using TIG & MIG according to weld procedures • Set up and weld components within specific weld procedure parameters • Detail grind components after weld repairs • Adhere to Company Safety and Environmental policies • Follow Company quality procedures

What You Bring
• Read and understand engineering drawings and specifications • Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent • 7+ years experience using foot‑control TIG and MIG machines • Experience with SMAW & GMAW welding procedures • Experience with manual TIG welding • Advanced degree can substitute for experience
