About the Role
The Maintenance Technician will execute maintenance requests by diagnosing problems and making repairs to maintain the community’s physical condition and ensure timely service. This role involves handling a wide range of systems and delivering high‑quality living experiences for residents. • Diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems. • Complete service requests and repairs per company standards promptly. • Prepare vacant apartments for rent, including turnkey work. • Conduct preventative maintenance on apartments. • Paint interior and exterior surfaces. • Uphold an incident‑free safety culture by following safety policies and reporting hazards. • Perform hot works such as brazing, soldering, and welding according to standards. • Participate in an on‑call rotation schedule monthly. • Provide courteous customer service to associates and residents. • Read and follow key policies, including Key Control, Turnover, and Emergency procedures. • Handle cleaning chemicals safely, understanding SDS and proper applications.

What You Bring
• Possess 2–3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs. • Hold a valid driver’s license. • Use personal protective equipment correctly. • Understand emergency system shutoffs and operation sequences. • Know paint types and appropriate tools.
