About the Role
The Engineer supports civil engineering works by ensuring constructability, reviewing inspection and test plans, inspection and test reports, and technical submissions for compliance, and by coordinating on‑site activities to meet schedule, cost, quality and safety goals. They assist the Civil Construction Manager in developing detailed work plans with subcontractors, maintain up‑to‑date documentation, monitor and inspect work quality, lead site meetings, and prepare red‑marked drawings. • Oversee on‑site civil construction to meet schedule, budget, quality and safety targets. • Verify inspection and test plans, reports, and subcontractor submissions against design specifications. • Create detailed execution plans with subcontractors, outlining resources, equipment and key milestones. • Keep civil‑scope documentation current and ensure the latest versions are applied on site. • Conduct regular quality inspections and facilitate stakeholder meetings. • Generate and coordinate red‑marked drawing packages with engineering and subcontractors. • Uphold Hitachi Energy’s safety and integrity standards in all activities.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or MSc in civil engineering, have at least five years of relevant experience—preferably in industrial or energy projects—and possess strong communication skills, flexibility, and an open mindset. Fluency in English and the ability to work on‑site are required.
