About the Role

• Perform mechanical maintenance and assemble automation systems in manufacturing. • Inspect, clean, and lubricate mechanical, electronic, and pneumatic systems. • Develop machine safety and data concepts. • Design and optimize automation solutions using PLCs, robotics, vision, drives, testing, and safety technologies. • Create mechanical designs, assemble and wire machines and plants. • Integrate robotic and automated components into existing production lines. • Conduct functional and performance tests, troubleshoot, and optimize control programs. • Prepare technical documentation, operating instructions, and training materials. • Collaborate on planning and implementing modernization and expansion projects. • Support training of new employees on automation technologies. • Introduce Industry 4.0 technologies such as 3D printing, AMR, predictive maintenance, and simulation.

What You Bring

The role includes a six‑month training program in Europe and requires flexibility to travel as needed. • Program and commission PLCs, safety controllers, and HMIs. • Degree in mechanical engineering, automation engineering, mechatronics or related field. • Minimum 3 years industrial automation experience. • Knowledge of cam‑controlled machines (e.g., Bihler, Wafios, Finzer). • Proficiency with CAD, PLC (SPS), HMI systems; programming skills a plus. • Ability to quickly learn, work shifts, travel, and continuously improve.
