Custodian - Self Storage Facilities

About the Role

As a Property Care Specialist you will ensure the property grounds and interiors are clean, safe, and reflect the brand’s standards across multiple locations. You will work independently, supporting a welcoming environment for customers while collaborating with management as needed. • Maintain cleanliness and brand standards of property grounds and interiors across multiple locations. • Perform general maintenance tasks such as mopping, sweeping, light‑bulb replacement, minor plumbing repairs, painting, and landscaping. • Conduct daily inspections of storage units and ensure units and kiosks are ready for rent. • Clean vacated units, restrooms, and carry out other janitorial duties throughout the facility. • Dispose of debris and abandoned goods as directed. • Move merchandise, office furniture, equipment, and other materials as needed. • Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, and equipment failures to the Property or District Manager. • Work flexible hours between 8 am and 8 pm, including weekends and holidays, in all weather conditions. • Lift and move items up to 35 lb and spend up to 50 % of the shift outdoors, climbing stairs and opening large doors.

What You Bring

The role requires the ability to lift and move items up to 35 lb and to spend up to half of the shift outdoors, including climbing stairs and opening large doors. You will perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks in various weather conditions. Ideal candidates have prior custodial or similar experience, enjoy independent or small‑team work, and possess strong organizational, communication, problem‑solving, and time‑management skills. A valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation are required to travel between sites. • Hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation for work‑related travel.
