About the Role

The Manager, Data Management is accountable for guiding data standards and quality, governance, master data management, and compliance to drive business value and operational efficiencies. The Manager, Data Management will also be responsible for establishing data governance standards, best practices, training and support for these same initiatives. Establishes and enhances data management standards, policies, and processes while collaborating with corporate functional teams and field Business Units to develop and challenge standards. Partners with IT to implement technology improvements that enforce data governance and standardization. Identifies opportunities for data standardization and enrichment, proposing solutions. Leads the team to define product specifications, milestones, and approve requirements, and directs data cleanup and standardization projects. Defines project goals, tracks progress, milestones, effort, and budget, and performs other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Brings extensive experience with data governance, metadata, master data management, data architecture, strategy, quality, modeling, and standards. Possesses working knowledge of best practices, business and technology issues affecting enterprise information assets, and data protection approaches. Creates data workflows, process flows, and technical documentation, and leads cross‑functional teams using IT project lifecycle methodologies. Conducts root‑cause analysis on data and processes to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities, utilizing data quality tools and solutions. Manages multiple large‑scale projects, meeting tight deadlines. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, five years supporting complex IT initiatives, and three years in data management, governance, or analytics. Demonstrated management experience is needed; the role is hybrid, with four on‑site days and one remote day per week.
