About the Role
The position involves leading technical delivery for major dam and hydropower projects across Colorado, the Mountain, and Four Corners regions, serving as program or project manager, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to successful completion. It also includes developing proposals, shaping business strategies, and maintaining strong client relationships to secure new work and ensure satisfaction. • Lead technical delivery for dams and hydropower projects in Colorado, Mountain, and Four Corners regions. • Serve as program manager, project manager, or technical lead, directing multidisciplinary teams. • Oversee client communication and ensure successful project completion. • Drive proposal development and business strategy for dam and hydropower pursuits. • Strengthen existing client relationships and secure new business through client‑facing activities. • Align capture plans with AECOM’s business development strategies and coordinate opportunities with division managers. • Collaborate with technical practice leads to match team skills with market trends and recruit strategic hires.

What You Bring
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree and ten years of experience (or equivalent) is required, with a preferred master’s or doctorate in civil, structural, geotechnical, or related engineering. Candidates should have at least fifteen years of technical and leadership experience in dams and hydropower, five years of project or business‑development leadership, and a recognized industry reputation through participation in organizations such as USSD or ASDSO. • Bachelor’s degree plus 10 years of relevant experience (or equivalent). • Master’s or PhD in civil, structural, geotechnical, or related engineering preferred. • 15+ years of technical and leadership experience in dams and hydropower. • Minimum 5 years leading projects, client accounts, or business‑development initiatives. • Recognized industry reputation through participation in USSD, ASDSO, or similar organizations. • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects and foster collaboration across geographies, disciplines, and business lines.

The role offers a hybrid work model in Denver with a yearly compensation range of $180,000 to $240,000.
