About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer‑Automation to lead strategic engineering initiatives that improve manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment. This hands‑on leadership role focuses on process optimization, automation, and project execution within an Industry 4.0 framework. The engineer will manage budget, timelines, and objectives for Industry 4.0 projects, including automation, digital core, IIoT, additive manufacturing, and systems integration. Key duties include guiding plant teams on machine connectivity and data acquisition, aligning automation projects with continuous improvement initiatives, assisting in business case development for Industry 4.0 opportunities, and training plant personnel on new tools and technologies. • Lead strategic engineering initiatives to enhance manufacturing processes, systems, and equipment. • Manage budgets, schedules, and goals for Industry 4.0 projects such as automation, IIoT, and additive manufacturing. • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including plant leadership, IT, Operations, Quality, Facilities, and Engineering. • Partner with SMEs from Electrical Advanced Manufacturing, I4.0, and Process Optimization groups. • Guide plant teams on machine connectivity and data acquisition activities. • Align automation project objectives with continuous improvement initiatives. • Support development, submission, and approval of business cases for Industry 4.0 opportunities. • Train key plant personnel on Industry 4.0 tools and technologies to ensure adoption.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering and have 3+ years of manufacturing experience in assembly or machining environments, with demonstrated expertise in automation, robotics, PLC programming, Industry 4.0 technologies, problem‑solving methodologies, Lean/Six Sigma, and project management. • Apply 3+ years of experience in automated assembly or machining, automation, robotics, and PLC programming. • Utilize problem‑solving methods (8D, 5 Why, A3), Lean/Six Sigma, and project management skills to work independently and lead cross‑functional efforts.
