About the Role
Join our Prairies & North Earth & Environment team to shape projects that safeguard communities, support resilient infrastructure, and expand what’s possible in applied near‑surface geophysics. You will work hands‑on across diverse terrains—on land, water, and in boreholes—to generate subsurface insights that clients rely on to plan, protect, and build for tomorrow. The role involves conducting geophysical field investigations using seismic refraction, MASW, ERI, GPR, magnetics, micro‑gravity, and electromagnetic methods; deploying, operating, and maintaining specialized equipment; applying data‑processing workflows to create clear interpretations; capturing field data with strong integrity; upholding rigorous safety standards; and collaborating with engineers, scientists, and technical specialists. • Conduct field investigations using seismic refraction, MASW, ERI, GPR, magnetics, micro‑gravity, and electromagnetic methods. • Deploy, operate, and maintain specialized geophysical equipment in diverse field conditions. • Process and interpret data to support design decisions and risk assessments. • Capture high‑integrity field data for multidisciplinary teams. • Uphold rigorous safety standards and contribute to a culture of care. • Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and technical specialists.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold a degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline with a geophysics focus, and have 0–3 years of hands‑on experience with near‑surface methods. Practical experience with at least two methods, comfort working outdoors in remote environments with frequent travel, strong mechanical aptitude, and a curiosity‑driven problem‑solving mindset are essential. • Hold a degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, Geological Engineering, or a related field. • 0–3 years of hands‑on near‑surface geophysical experience, with proficiency in at least two methods. • Comfortable with extended outdoor work, remote locations, and 50–100 % travel. • Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence with electronics and digital data systems.
