About the Role
The Trade Foreman provides comprehensive onsite technical direction for the assigned trade, overseeing scheduling, coordination, and supervision of crew activities. The role ensures projects stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards while maintaining open communication with project management. • Ensure a safe work environment for crews and site personnel; assist corporate safety managers. • Maintain customer satisfaction and professional relationships. • Manage trade‑specific budget, quality craftsmanship, and installation procedures. • Plan and coordinate daily/weekly trade activities, CPMI, and material/tool requisitions. • Supervise journeyman‑to‑apprentice ratios and resolve conflicts. • Comply with all company policies; exercise stop‑work authority for unsafe conditions. • Apply technical judgment, resolve issues, and make recommendations under general supervision. • Contribute to development of techniques, procedures, and team coordination.

Required safety training includes orientation, site‑specific briefings, CPR/First Aid/AED, bloodborne pathogen awareness, hazard identification, and OSHA‑30 certification. The foreman position involves indirect supervision, technical responsibilities, and the development of improved procedures under general supervision. Candidates must possess the appropriate journeyman license (for plumbing), meet physical demands such as lifting up to 75 lb and working in confined or high‑place environments, and demonstrate sound judgment and crew leadership. • Complete required safety trainings (orientation, CPR/First Aid, OSHA 30, etc.). • Hold a Journeyman Plumber’s License (minimum) for Trade Foreman Plumbing. • Perform physically demanding tasks: lift 31–75 lb, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.
