About the Role

In this position you will manage LiftSystem Action Resolution (AR) cases, support Pratt & Whitney and customer teams on interface, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair and logistics issues, and ensure all operational events are logged in Maximo. You will provide regular status updates, review engineering changes to limit field impact, track deliveries of hardware and spares, and assist in interpreting maintenance and repair instructions. Additionally, you will support the Lead Field Service Engineer in deployed services for the JSF program and be prepared for deployments across Italy and potentially war‑zone locations. • Serve as primary contact for LiftSystem Action Resolution issues at Grottaglie. • Provide technical assistance on LiftSystem/aircraft interface, troubleshooting, maintenance, repairs, and logistics. • Record operational events in Maximo and supply regular status updates to Pratt & Whitney and Rolls‑Royce management. • Review engineering change proposals to minimize field impact and coordinate deliveries of hardware and spares. • Support deployed services and the JSF program, including war‑zone assignments as required.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a BS in aviation, aerospace or a related engineering discipline (or at least nine years of aviation‑related experience), is a U.S. citizen, and has a minimum of nine years in aviation propulsion, preferably within DoD military programs. Preferred credentials include an FAA‑certified Airframe & Powerplant mechanic’s license, prior field service experience, the ability to obtain a secret clearance, and willingness to deploy to operational sites. Strong technical knowledge of jet engines, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential. • Hold a BS in aviation/aerospace/engineering or 9 years relevant experience; U.S. citizenship required. • Possess FAA A&P certification, extensive jet‑engine maintenance expertise, and ability to obtain a secret clearance. • Demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and Microsoft Office skills.
