About the Role
The role involves delivering testing and consulting services for the built environment, including property condition assessments, specialized testing, building enclosure consulting, forensic investigations, and design of repairs to existing structures. The incumbent will conduct both field and laboratory testing, collaborate with senior staff on a variety of projects, and promote a safe workplace through proper use of PPE. Strong organization, reliability, time management, and self‑motivation are essential. • Perform field and laboratory testing for building projects. • Assess property conditions and design repair solutions. • Conduct building enclosure consulting and forensic analyses. • Collaborate with senior team members on diverse project tasks. • Ensure safety protocols and proper PPE usage. • Satisfy physical lifting demands and provide reliable transportation to job sites.

What You Bring
Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with an associate or technology degree in civil or architectural engineering preferred, and at least two years of building‑enclosure field inspection experience. Professional certifications such as WACEL, ACI, or AWCI are highly desirable. The position requires repeatedly lifting 40–70 lb (occasionally up to 85 lb), reliable transportation for job sites, and availability for typical Monday‑Friday, 8 am–5 pm hours plus occasional overtime, which is paid. Compensation ranges from $20 to $27 per hour, based on location and qualifications. • Demonstrate strong organizational and time‑management skills. • Meet education requirements: high school diploma/GED; associate or tech degree preferred. • Possess at least two years of building‑enclosure inspection experience (preferred). • Hold or pursue professional certifications such as WACEL, ACI, or AWCI.
