About the Role
The opportunity is with Downer’s Wellington team, which delivers projects of all sizes to world‑class standards. As a Short‑Term Traffic Management Supervisor (STMS) you will be responsible for accurately implementing temporary traffic management plans, overseeing set‑up and pack‑down of road closures and diversions, and leading toolbox and closure briefings with crew while communicating clear job details to traffic management officers. You will also train and upskill Traffic Controllers and junior STMS personnel, ensuring the safety of Downer crews, subcontractors, and the public throughout each project.
