About the Role

As a Senior Plant Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in keeping the plant operating efficiently, maintaining equipment such as balers, conveyor belts, gearboxes, motors, pulleys, shafts, and bearings. You will respond quickly to system failures, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe and efficient restoration of operations while reporting to the Plant Maintenance Manager. Key duties include conducting preventive maintenance inspections, diagnosing, repairing, and rebuilding major equipment, maintaining the Daily Equipment Inspections backlog, and adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules. You will also inspect third‑party repairs, recommend improvements, handle emergency breakdowns, and perform work with limited supervision while adhering to safety standards. • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and diagnose, repair, rebuild equipment such as balers, conveyors, hydraulic power packs, eddy currents, electromagnetic belts, optical sorters, compressors, etc. • Maintain the Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) backlog • Adjust work procedures to meet production schedules and report if work exceeds Standard Repair Times (SRTs) • Inspect quality of third‑party repairs and recommend improvements for production and equipment performance • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and perform work with limited supervision • Follow Waste Management Safety, Life Critical Rules, and OSHA requirements; maintain a clean, safe work area
