About the Role
The clutch assembler is responsible for building clutch components and complete assemblies according to detailed specifications, while maintaining a safe work environment around both fully automated and collaborative automation cells. The role includes guiding and mentoring fellow assemblers, collaborating with supervisors on continuous‑improvement initiatives, and ensuring each workstation operates efficiently through regular maintenance and issue escalation. • Assemble clutch components, sub‑assemblies, and full assemblies per specification sheets, drawings, and work instructions. • Operate safely around fully automated and collaborative automation cells. • Direct and train assemblers in the assigned area. • Assist supervisors with Tier meetings, engineering trials, and continuous‑improvement events. • Plan daily assembly line flow, coordinate changeovers, supply proper tools, and escalate issues as needed. • Perform minor and preventive maintenance on assigned workstations. • Monitor and report unusual conditions, safety hazards, or defective material. • Ensure compliance with safety, quality procedures, and company policies. • Complete daily standard work tasks while meeting quality and quantity standards. • Work occasional overtime, including weekends and holidays, as scheduled.

What You Bring
Applicants must possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent and have a minimum of one year experience assembling clutches or other transmission components. Physical requirements include the ability to regularly lift up to 35 lb, stand for extended periods, and perform a range of motions such as bending and twisting. Candidates should reside within a 50‑mile radius of the facility, though active‑duty military members are exempt. • Minimum of one year experience assembling clutches or other transmission components. • Able to lift 35 lb regularly (up to 30 lb to shoulder) and stand up to nine hours with scheduled breaks. • Candidates must reside within a 50‑mile radius of the facility; active‑duty military are exempt.
