About the Role
The Project Manager supports planning, execution, and completion of cross‑functional projects within the BASX research and development and product validation group. The role ensures project goals are met on time and within scope by coordinating resources, tracking progress, and maintaining effective communication among stakeholders. Ideal candidates have strong organizational skills and a proactive problem‑solving approach in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this position the manager assists the project manager in developing schedules, timelines, and milestones, monitors progress against deadlines and quality standards, and keeps leadership informed throughout the lifecycle. Responsibilities also include managing the Redmond Testing Laboratory schedule, processing purchasing requests, coordinating material and component deliveries, and supporting customer visits with event logistics. The manager builds strong relationships with internal teams and external partners and conducts post‑project evaluations to drive continuous improvement. • Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with the project manager. • Monitor project progress to ensure alignment with deadlines, customer expectations, and quality standards. • Manage the Redmond Testing Laboratory schedule and coordinate purchasing requests for lab resources. • Organize material, product, and component deliveries by liaising with material handling, inventory, receiving, and shipping teams. • Plan and support customer visits to the testing lab, including event logistics, catering, and documentation. • Build and sustain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners. • Conduct post‑project evaluations and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.

What You Bring
Candidates may have any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background, typically 3–5 years of project‑support experience. Required skills include solid knowledge of project‑management methodologies, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project), strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently and collaboratively. Physical demands involve prolonged sitting and occasional lifting of up to 25 lb, with some walking or standing during facility visits. • Possess 3–5 years of project‑support or coordination experience. • Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project. • Exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to changing project needs. • Physical ability to sit for extended periods, lift up to 25 lb, and walk or stand during facility visits.
