About the Role

The Road Mechanic role is focused on performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and advanced repairs on customer‑site equipment, ensuring minimal downtime. Technicians work on a diverse fleet that most commonly includes aerial work platforms, construction tools, and, in specialty locations, large generators, pumps, HVAC, and oil‑and‑gas equipment. The position requires traveling to remote sites and operating safely in both indoor and outdoor environments. • Work on a variety of makes, models & equipment in challenging remote locations • Develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management • May need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade

What You Bring

Applicants need a high school diploma or GED, with trade school training or equivalent preferred, and 1–2 years of experience servicing diesel, heavy‑construction, or specialty equipment. A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record are required, and some locations may need a CDL. Core competencies include knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, flexibility in a fast‑paced setting, and the ability to provide one’s own tools; bilingual ability may be required depending on the site. • High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired • 1-2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) based on role strongly preferred • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (21 years of age & CDL license may be required in some locations) • Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals • Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs
