About the Role
The Welder position is responsible for welding conveyor components within the fabrication department. This role is situated in the barrel of the fabrication area and requires strong welding skills. Key duties include performing welding and fabrication tasks, adhering to all safety regulations, and supporting lean manufacturing and cost‑reduction initiatives. The employee must also handle additional assigned duties and be prepared to work the designated shift and overtime as needed. • Perform welding and fabrication of conveyor components in the fabrication department. • Follow all safety rules and regulations while working. • Participate in lean manufacturing and cost‑reduction activities. • Lift items up to 40 lb and operate an overhead crane for larger parts. • Stand, crouch, or bend for 10+ hours daily in a high‑noise, factory environment. • Use air, power, and hand tools, especially torches and grinders.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or GED is required, and MIG and stick welding vocational training is preferred but not mandatory. Candidates must pass an internal welding test, read tape measures and blueprints, and be proficient with air, power, and hand tools, especially torches and grinders. • Read tape measures and blueprints accurately. • Pass the internal welding test and demonstrate mechanical aptitude. • Maintain a high school diploma or GED; MIG and stick welding training preferred.

The position offers an hourly wage ranging from $19.00 to $24.00. Applicants who do not meet every qualification are still encouraged to apply.
