About the Role
A Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services while ensuring the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards and adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations. The driver completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects promptly. Key responsibilities include performing pre- and post‑operation vehicle inspections, following route sheets and maps to service customers, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse, and courteously interacting with customers and dispatchers. The driver must tag unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for violations, clean accidental spills, maintain vehicle readiness by cleaning the packer blade and truck body, and complete required productivity and reporting documentation. Additionally, the driver follows safety policies, participates in the ReSOP program, and performs other assigned duties while demonstrating strong customer service, time management, and adherence to company policies.
