About the Role

Parsons is seeking a Risk Manager to support a complex infrastructure project based on‑site in Dublin. The role will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of a risk management framework, ensuring proactive identification, assessment and mitigation of risks across all phases of the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include leading risk reporting to governance bodies, supporting assurance reviews, and providing expert guidance on complex or emerging risk issues. The manager will design and facilitate risk workshops, oversee programme‑wide risk registers, and ensure risk practices remain compliant with evolving legislation and internal policies. Collaboration with executive leadership, delivery teams and external stakeholders will embed risk‑informed decision‑making throughout the project. • Lead risk reporting to governance bodies and support assurance reviews. • Develop and implement risk management frameworks aligned with ISO 31000 and programme objectives. • Identify, evaluate, and manage complex and emerging risks throughout the project lifecycle. • Facilitate risk workshops and capability‑building initiatives to raise risk maturity. • Govern programme‑wide risk registers, ensuring accurate capture, escalation, and monitoring of risks. • Provide expert risk advice to project teams and conduct regular risk assessments and audits. • Collaborate cross‑functionally to embed risk controls in daily operations.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has 3–10 years of risk management or project controls experience on high‑value infrastructure or construction projects, with a proven track record of developing complex risk models. Proficiency with risk tools such as @Risk, PRA, RiskHive, ARM or similar, and a minimum Level 8 degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or a related discipline are required. Desired qualifications include strong project management skills, stakeholder engagement ability, and familiarity with document‑management systems like Microsoft Office and SharePoint. Certifications such as PMP and an IRM Diploma or equivalent risk‑management qualification are highly valued. The position is contingent on project award and funding, with an anticipated start in Spring 2026. • Require 3–10 years of risk management or project controls experience on high‑value infrastructure projects. • Proficient with risk tools such as @Risk, PRA, RiskHive, or ARM. • Minimum Level 8 degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering or related field. • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical skills. • PMP certification and IRM Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
