About the Role
The Analytics & Communications Specialist translates data into actionable insights and compelling narratives that drive operational excellence. You will partner with leaders and teams to analyze complex business challenges, uncover trends, and communicate findings through reports and visualizations. The role also includes auditing data quality and coaching colleagues on analytics tools. Key responsibilities span data analysis and reporting, cross‑functional communication, analytics coaching, and data audit and cleansing. You will explore multiple data sources, create ad‑hoc and standardized reports, identify patterns, and build recommendations to improve effectiveness. Additionally, you will engage stakeholders to clarify requests, provide debriefs, maintain process documentation, and support the development of programs that meet business objectives. • Analyze diverse data sets to detect patterns and relationships • Produce both on‑demand and scheduled reports with visual dashboards • Shape the analytics roadmap and promote uniform methodologies globally • Translate findings into clear communications that mobilize stakeholders • Manage leadership updates, disseminate action items, and flag critical trends • Document standard analytics processes and secure approvals from department heads • Mentor colleagues on using reporting platforms and analytical techniques • Perform regular data quality audits and verify corrective actions • Leverage tools such as PowerBI, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and SmartSheet • Deliver actionable recommendations to enhance business unit performance

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least one year of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, data science, or a related engineering discipline. Proficiency with PowerBI, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and SmartSheet is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems. Experience working with technical or financial teams and presenting data‑driven insights is preferred. • Adapt swiftly to new software and maintain strong communication throughout projects

Benefits
The position offers a target salary of $77,000 – $115,600 in Washington, DC, with eligibility for bonus and equity. Benefits include health, life, and disability insurance, retirement contributions, paid time off, holidays, and an Employee Assistance Program.
