About the Role

The Landscape Inspector will supervise hard and softscape projects such as parks, playgrounds, and water features. This role involves ensuring all work aligns with contract specifications and maintaining high standards of quality and safety on site. Key duties include conducting inspections, documenting daily activities, coordinating subconsultants, and managing compliance with safety and environmental requirements. The inspector will also respond to emergencies, resolve nonconformances, and provide technical guidance to junior staff. • Conduct inspections to verify compliance with contract specifications. • Oversee demolition and construction of transportation facilities and associated improvements. • Manage drainage, traffic control, and storm‑water pollution prevention compliance. • Install electrical, irrigation, signage, and mechanical equipment for roadways. • Capture and organize daily project photographs and maintain project files. • Prepare daily reports, diaries, and required contract documentation. • Verify use of approved materials and perform labor compliance interviews. • Identify and resolve potential conflicts, advising supervisors on solutions. • Collect and file certificates of compliance, safety data sheets, and inspection tags. • Report installed quantities for payment and change‑order verification. • Coordinate subconsultants for surveying and material testing. • Assist in developing and reporting job safety practices. • Support quality‑control procedures and respond to site emergencies. • Document nonconformances and help determine resolutions. • Administer welder qualification tests and mentor lower‑level inspectors. • Ensure safe work practices and public safety on all activities.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a diploma or associate’s degree in a technical or construction‑related field, with a bachelor’s degree preferred, and have at least five years of relevant field experience. Construction safety training, including 10 hours of OSHA certification, is desired, and Abu Dhabi residents are given preference. • Hold a diploma/associate’s degree (technical or construction) – bachelor’s preferred. • Possess 5+ years of field project experience in landscape/construction. • Complete construction safety training, including 10 hours of OSHA certification. • Preference for Abu Dhabi residents.
