What You Bring

The Carpenter Helper assists skilled craftspersons by performing supportive duties under direct supervision. This role requires a general knowledge of carpentry and the use of hand and power tools to aid the Carpenter or Carpenter Foreman with designing, constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing wood, plywood, and wallboard structures. The helper is expected to seek improvements in methods, learn from others, and understand safety hazards related to the work. The position may be based in a plant operations environment or a construction jobsite. The role demands physical stamina to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lb regularly (occasionally up to 100 lb), use hand and power tools, and work on ladders, scaffolds, and uneven terrain under various weather conditions.
