About the Role

• Lead roadway design projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence • Assist in project design and delivery while mentoring junior engineers • Communicate effectively with all team members • Manage project scope, fees, and financials, including monthly invoicing and reporting • Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure quality project delivery • Manage external client relationships and expectations

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and an NC Professional Engineer license, with at least eight years of transportation roadway design experience. Required technical skills include proficiency in MicroStation and Geopak/ORD, and NCDOT project experience is preferred. Strong client management and communication abilities are essential. The position is primarily office‑based, involving repetitive finger motions such as typing, picking, and grasping, and requires visual acuity for screen work. Employees must be able to lift, carry, push or pull up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally, and may be required to work weekends, overtime, or travel overnight.
