About the Role

The Calibration Technician role is responsible for performing equipment calibrations, testing, and analysis using recognized methodologies and industry standards, ensuring accurate measurements across PowerLabs and customer equipment. • Perform calibrations of measuring and test equipment and analyze plant components, systems, and parts. • Produce accurate test reports in accordance with the Constellation PowerLabs Quality Assurance Manual. • Interact with clients and vendors on technical projects and calibration initiatives. • Process vendor calibrations and conduct source verifications for testing and calibration. • Conduct corrective and routine maintenance or repair of PowerLabs and customer equipment. • Support or perform on‑site customer calibrations, including regional travel as needed. • Maintain safe work postures (standing, crouching, kneeling) for extended periods and travel when required. • Participate in a 401(k) plan with company match and an employee stock purchase program.

What You Bring

The position requires interaction with clients and vendors, execution of corrective and routine maintenance, and the ability to travel for on‑site calibrations while maintaining safe work practices. Applicants must have an associate’s degree in a technical discipline, 60 college credits toward a bachelor’s, PMEL training, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of related experience, and must meet access and medical requirements. Preferred candidates have nuclear power‑plant or radiation‑protection experience and education in metrology through vocational, military, or associate programs. • Hold an associate’s degree, 60 credits toward a bachelor’s, PMEL training, or a high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience. • Meet minimum access, unescorted access, and medical examination requirements for the role. • Prefer nuclear power‑plant or radiation‑protection experience. • Prefer metrology education via VoTech, military training, or an associate’s degree in a technical area.
