About the Role
The Senior Mechatronics & Robotics Technician leads service technicians in installing and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment, supports the Operations Maintenance Team with complex problem‑solving, and mentors junior staff. The role includes promoting a safe work environment, maintaining and troubleshooting conveyor systems and control components, managing work orders with detailed labor and parts data, leading preventative‑maintenance audits, and fostering positive communication across the operations facility. • Promote and enforce safety procedures on all tasks. • Maintain and troubleshoot conveyor systems, relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components such as photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids. • Create, assign, and close work orders, documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used. • Lead and audit preventative‑maintenance programs. • Mentor and train junior and contract technicians. • Communicate effectively with all operations personnel. • Work in warehouse settings with fluctuating temperatures and travel 6–12 miles daily.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least four years of experience with material handling equipment, preventative maintenance, and blueprint reading, three years using a CMMS, two years with PLC programming, and demonstrated team‑lead and vendor‑management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and flexibility for varied shift schedules are also required. Preferred candidates hold an associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical disciplines and have experience operating and maintaining robotic systems. The position demands physical ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, lift up to 50 lb, and work in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures while wearing required PPE. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • 4+ years experience with material handling equipment and preventative maintenance. • 4+ years experience reading blueprints and schematics. • 3+ years experience using a CMMS. • 2+ years experience programming PLCs. • Proven team‑lead experience, including training and vendor management. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. • Associate’s or higher degree in mechanical or electrical field (preferred). • Experience with robotic operation and maintenance (preferred). • Ability to lift up to 50 lb, reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb ladders, and use aerial lifts. • Wear required PPE such as hard hat, face shield, and safety shoes.
