About the Role

The core function of the role is to safely operate cranes in support of construction activities while performing preventative maintenance and conducting pre‑shift walk‑arounds to ensure equipment is ready for safe operation. • Operate 100‑ton Tadano crane safely and productively on construction sites. • Perform preventative maintenance and pre‑shift inspections of crane equipment. • Maintain positive working relationships with crew members and ensure availability of tools, materials, and information. • Identify and implement process improvements, reduce waste, and share knowledge with team members. • Inspect subordinate work for accuracy and compliance, and take corrective actions as needed.

What You Bring

We are seeking an NCCCO‑certified 100‑ton Tadano crane operator for a project in Tucson, AZ. Candidates should have at least three to four years of crane operating experience, a current NCCCO certification, a valid medical card, and be able to pass pre‑employment drug testing. The position offers $37.07 per hour plus cash fringe payments, per diem for qualified candidates, and requires availability for overtime, working 40 to 50 hours per week on a two‑year contract. Physical demands include up to 12‑hour shifts in varying temperatures, climbing ladders, stairs and scaffolds, lifting or moving objects up to 50 lb occasionally, and navigating confined or uneven spaces while wearing required personal protective equipment. • Minimum 3–6 years experience in industrial/commercial construction heavy equipment operation (Level I–III). • Current NCCCO or NCCER crane operator certification with appropriate endorsements. • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and safety/quality standards. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Pass pre‑employment drug test, hold a current medical card, and be available for overtime. • Capable of working 12‑hour shifts, lifting up to 50 lb, climbing ladders/scaffolds, and working in varied weather conditions while wearing PPE.
