About the Role

The Regional Manager is responsible for handling field‑based assignments across a designated region, a “store‑within‑a‑store” site, or on a national level. Their main goal is to turn around underperforming locations, bringing them back to operational standards and profitability, and to transition them smoothly back to regular management. • Address field‑based assignments across regions, “store‑within‑a‑store” locations, or nationally. • Rehabilitate underperforming sites to meet operational and profitability targets. • Maintain proactive communication with the Regional Director on all operational aspects. • Relocate quickly for assignments lasting up to ten weeks and assume full managerial duties. • Oversee talent acquisition for sales representatives and support store‑manager interviews. • Lead learning and development initiatives and manage daily operations.

What You Bring

The role requires an agile operator who adapts to business needs and keeps proactive communication with the Regional Director on all operational matters. Assignments may run up to ten weeks, during which the manager must quickly relocate and assume full managerial duties, including talent acquisition, learning and development, and daily operations. The manager also oversees the complete talent acquisition process for sales representatives and may take part in store‑manager interviews. This position supervises the following retail sites: Bass Pro – Manteca, CA; Bass Pro – Rocklin, CA; Bass Pro – San Jose, CA; GWL – Manteca, CA.
