About the Role
• Manually collect wind‑blown paper along the landfill perimeter and pack it into large plastic bags. • Operate a mobile vacuum mounted on a tractor to suction loose paper and debris from the fence and surrounding ground. • Direct incoming truck traffic at the landfill entrance during peak summer periods using verbal and hand‑signal communication. • Lift and transport construction materials such as lumber, concrete mix bags, and hand tools for site‑maintenance projects. • Separate metal, appliances, lumber, and cardboard from trash on the transfer‑station tipping floor. • Meet physical demands of lifting, walking, and operating equipment in an outdoor landfill environment.
