About the Role

The incumbent will support the identification and qualification of new suppliers, collaborate with category teams, supplier quality, and engineering specialists, and assist in negotiating agreements and renewing price lists. They will analyze bids to secure optimal value, provide market insights to bid and proposal teams, and track goods receipt to confirm delivery and proper invoice processing. Supplier performance will be monitored for delivery, quality, and lead time, with corrective actions taken as needed. All supply chain activities for goods and services will be conducted according to established policies and procedures, including updating the Pro‑Supply global supplier relationship management platform. The role requires compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, as well as adherence to Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity. • Execute material purchase requests per specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. • Identify and qualify new suppliers in collaboration with category, quality, and engineering teams. • Negotiate agreements, renew price lists, and manage contractual terms. • Analyze bids to determine optimal value and provide market information to bid teams. • Track goods receipt, verify deliveries, and ensure accurate invoice processing. • Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, and lead time, resolving issues as needed. • Initiate and manage supply orders in ERP/SOP, aligning with customer requirements and sustainability goals. • Maintain Pro‑Supply global supplier relationship data according to procedures. • Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations and corporate policies.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in any field and have 1 to 5 years of relevant experience. Required skills include basic knowledge of SAP, Ariba, Microsoft Office, and preferably JAGGAER, along with strong analytical, presentation, decision‑making, problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in spoken and written English is essential, and the position operates on a night shift from 5:30 pm to 2:30 am. • Utilize SAP, Ariba, Microsoft Office; JAGGAER experience preferred. • Hold a graduate or postgraduate degree and 1–5 years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate strong analytical, presentation, decision‑making, problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational skills. • Work night shift (5:30 pm–2:30 am) and communicate effectively in English.
