About the Role

The Corporate Training Facilitator role, based in Richmond, VA, is a Learning and Development position focused on delivering and managing training programs that support the company’s strategic initiatives. The facilitator will design and lead both job‑specific and soft‑skill sessions for new hires, managers and senior leaders, working independently and collaboratively while adapting to shifting priorities. The role also supports curriculum design, classroom logistics, and evaluation of training effectiveness. • Facilitate professional development trainings, including new hire orientation, manager‑in‑training programs, and senior leadership development. • Guide participant‑led discussions around training materials. • Coordinate administrative tasks to deliver and document learning programs. • Develop curricula, instructor manuals, learner guides, or leverage purchased programs to meet learning goals. • Collaborate across departments and with HR partners, SMEs, and senior leadership to create new initiatives and improve outcomes. • Manage classroom and online learning environments, including setup of systems, media, and course materials. • Evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, surveys, and feedback. • Recommend content modifications to enhance programs, resources, and facilitation tools. • Create inclusive learning environments and adapt to audience needs. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced, changing environment.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, non‑profit, in‑person college or university. • Demonstrated commitment to prior employers. • 5+ years experience facilitating enterprise Learning and Development initiatives for adult learners in both in‑person and virtual settings. • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and related applications. • Working knowledge of adult learning methodologies. • Up to 10% travel (international or domestic) as required. • BA/BS in Human Resource Development, Organizational Development, Talent Development, or related field (preferred). • Prior management experience to support manager and senior leadership training. • Experience with instructional design applications, preferably Articulate 360. • Working knowledge of a Learning Management System. • Strong instructional design skills.
