About the Role

• Review and execute work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams, SCDs, LARs, and CTWDs. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to Electronics Maintenance Technician I personnel. • Support documentation and generation of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE). • Troubleshoot power, signal, grounding, and connectivity issues using approved test equipment. • Ensure work complies with shipyard safety, quality, and configuration control requirements. • Perform preventive, corrective, and demand maintenance on shipboard electronics and communications systems. • Perform and inspect multipin connector terminations and cable maintenance IAW NAVSEA standards. • Execute equipment removal, replacement, repair, and reinstallation activities. • Support system testing, fault isolation, verification, and restoration to operational status.

What You Bring

• NAVSEA cableway installation or maintenance experience. • Experience working to NAVSEA standards and shipyard processes. • Strong working knowledge of connectors, cabling, and electronic test equipment (DMMs, continuity testers, basic signal test tools). • Demonstrated experience troubleshooting shipboard or complex electronics systems. • Previous NIWC, CTII, PEO C4I, or similar Navy C4ISR program experience. • Multipin connector certification. • OSHA 10 certification. • Fiber optic maintenance or installation experience (bonus). • 4-7 years of electronics maintenance experience in shipboard, DoD, or industrial environments. • Ability to obtain CAC / Public Trust and shipyard access. • Prior CVN or large-deck ship experience (CVN, LHD, LHA, DDG).
