About the Role

As a Technology Systems Designer you will support design efforts across a wide range of project types, including critical facilities, corporate interiors, sports and entertainment venues, healthcare, airports, and educational institutions. Working closely with senior consultants, architects, and MEP engineers, you will create trade‑specific system layouts, perform calculations, and coordinate designs with other disciplines. Key duties include conducting field inspections, preparing due‑diligence and feasibility reports, drafting CAD/BIM drawings, selecting equipment, and performing system calculations. You will also support multidisciplinary design production, apply basic network and Wi‑Fi fundamentals, manage QA/QC processes, and assist with construction administration, RFIs, change orders, and project scheduling. • Design Audio Visual systems using CAD/BIM for critical facilities, corporate interiors, sports, healthcare, airports, and educational projects. • Perform system calculations, equipment selection, and layout coordination with architects, MEP engineers, and other trades. • Conduct field inspections, due‑diligence studies, feasibility analyses, and prepare technical reports and drawings. • Create design documentation including specifications, system narratives, and detailed drawings. • Support QA/QC processes and assist with construction administration, RFIs, change orders, and project scheduling. • Apply basic network concepts (LAN, WAN) and Wi‑Fi infrastructure fundamentals to system designs.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or Technology and possess 3.5‑7 years of Audio Visual experience. Proficiency with CAD/Revit, MS Office 365, Adobe Bluebeam, and a basic understanding of LEED principles are required, along with the ability to obtain a PE license or relevant ICT certifications. • Require a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Math or Technology and 3.5–7 years of Audio Visual experience. • Proficient in CAD/Revit, MS Office 365, Adobe Bluebeam; knowledge of LEED principles and ability to obtain PE or ICT certification.
