About the Role

In this role the engineer will mature cloud‑based network systems, design secure VPC configurations, configure NAT gateways, and implement secure routing via route aggregation, while troubleshooting and improving standards for LAN/WAN, switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls across cloud and data‑center environments. • Drive long‑term networking strategy in the public cloud. • Automate networking tasks and build self‑service tools. • Maintain an enterprise‑scale SASE solution. • Debug, troubleshoot, tune, and support the network. • Participate in organizational planning and cross‑team projects. • Manage relationships with third‑party vendors. • Mentor and cross‑train teammates. • Design, secure, and automate AWS networking infrastructure. • Configure VPCs, NAT gateways, and route aggregation solutions. • Implement LAN/WAN, switches, routers, load balancers, and firewalls. • Ensure network routing, DNS, and virtual load balancing (ALB/NLB) functionality. • Leverage CI/CD pipelines and GitHub for network automation. • Manage campus wireless networks and firewall security.

What You Bring

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent experience) and at least three years of large‑scale network infrastructure experience, with strong knowledge of AWS and Azure networking, network routing, DNS, virtual load balancing, CI/CD pipelines, and TCP/IP technologies such as MPLS, BGP, and IPsec. • Demonstrate expertise in TCP/IP, MPLS, BGP, IPsec, and related technologies. • Work effectively within an Agile framework and present technical designs.
