About the Role

The Site Labourer reports to the Site Superintendent at the Findlay Creek site in Gloucester, earning $21.01‑$26.43 per hour. This role ensures homes are prepared and cleaned, maintains overall site cleanliness and safety, and supports day‑to‑day operations in line with company policies and strategic goals. Work is performed year‑round in a loud, busy residential construction environment, both indoors and outdoors, and may require overtime and physical effort such as lifting up to 40 lb repeatedly. • Load and unload construction materials and move them within the development. • Move, clean, and inventory tools and equipment daily. • Prepare houses for painters by scrubbing and preparing paint surfaces. • Prepare houses for carpenters and trades by pulling nails, sweeping, vacuuming, and scrubbing surfaces. • Collect and dispose of debris daily across the site and houses according to waste‑removal programs. • Lock and unlock houses at the beginning and end of each shift. • Locate standpipes and ensure water is turned on for each box. • Remove snow from drives and walkways during winter months. • Assist tradespersons as directed by the Site Superintendent. • Install guard rails, barriers, and other safety measures. • Install high‑density foam. • Relocate and ensure proper functionality of propane and electric heaters after required training/certification. • Provide status reports to the Site Superintendent and raise concerns daily.
