About the Role

The Facility Management Technical Escort will primarily handle on‑demand requests for escorting contractors on the ESS Project, ensuring compliance with all contractual protocols within a Government of Canada environment. The escort ensures all security protocols are adhered to, maintains oversight of contractor activity, and safeguards restricted areas by controlling access points. The role also supports a safe work environment, promptly handles incident reporting, and provides vendors with necessary safety, security, and fire procedure information. • Escort contractors in a Government of Canada environment, ensuring compliance with contractual protocols. • Verify contractor registration, sign‑in, and visible security passes before entry. • Maintain continuous line of sight and full control while escorting contractors. • Secure all uncontrolled access points to restricted areas with approved keys. • Contribute to tenant and customer satisfaction through professional service delivery. • Follow company safety procedures and promptly report accidents and incidents. • Communicate safety, security, and fire policies to vendors on client sites.
