About the Role
The Internal Communications team is seeking a Communications Initiative Program Manager to connect employees to our mission and the clean‑energy transformation. In this role you will deliver consistent, timely messaging through diverse channels that celebrates contributions, links daily work to strategy, and tells stories that build pride and belonging across the workforce. You will also support trust between leadership and employees through meeting support, event coordination, and targeted communications initiatives. You will serve as a trusted communications advisor to partners across PSE, collaborating to identify goals and develop plans that drive employee engagement. By helping internal customers navigate communication challenges with creativity and strategic thinking, you will work with cross‑functional teams to implement plans that inform and inspire our workforce. • Write, review, and publish compelling content across multiple channels, from executive messages to employee communications. • Support daily content needs while maintaining PSE’s voice for diverse audiences, including office staff and field crews. • Identify creative ways to connect employees with business priorities and test new communication approaches for the workforce. • Develop and implement communications components or public outreach for strategic projects, initiatives, and issues, supporting other initiative teams as needed. • Identify opportunities to evolve PSE’s communication strategies, incorporating new technology, engagement tactics, and processes. • Perform emergency and storm duties as required. • Partner with internal departments to understand communication goals and deliver them through internal channels. • Lead creation of internal communications pieces such as emails, newsletters, web content, and other materials. • Lead employee engagement efforts, including the volunteer program and giving campaign. • Manage increasingly complex projects with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment. • Deliver on project commitments while collaborating with departmental teams. • Apply community or employee engagement strategies using new media applications. • Raise issues and concerns respectfully and collaboratively. • Maintain a strong focus on customer service. • Coordinate and manage relationships with external vendors.

What You Bring
PSE's Communications & Marketing team is seeking qualified candidates for an open Communications Initiatives Program Manager position. As an engaged team player you proactively participate, view challenges as opportunities to innovate, and balance big‑picture strategy with tactical execution. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in communications or related field and five years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination. • Contribute effectively in peer‑management teams and demonstrate strong collaboration and team‑building skills. • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and proficiency with MS Office tools. • Experience with community outreach and direct customer engagement. • Highly detail‑oriented with ability to track status of multiple projects. • Exhibit strong leadership, interpersonal, and relationship‑building abilities. • Comfortable working through conflict and solving problems creatively with project managers. • Experience in team‑based organizational structures and strong project‑management capabilities. • Ability to work remotely while coordinating with corporate leadership. • Possess light graphic‑design skills. • Have marketing or sales experience and broad knowledge of utility rates, operations, finance, and corporate relations.
