About the Role
The Commercial Sales Executive will promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory, establishing relationships and closing new business while ensuring customer retention. Acting as the Johnson Controls Security brand steward, you will tell the company’s security story and demonstrate its leadership in electronic security. You will adhere to current Johnson Controls Security policies, procedures, products, programs and services while building new market share by selling to new commercial customers and expanding existing accounts. Responsibilities include lead generation, managing call plans, time and territory management, processing work orders, completing required paperwork, and conducting post‑installation follow‑up to confirm customer satisfaction. • Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory • Act as brand steward, communicating the Johnson Controls Security story to customers • Build new market share by acquiring new commercial customers and expanding existing accounts • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, contract renewal and post‑installation follow‑up • Adhere to Johnson Controls Security policies, procedures, and product knowledge standards • Identify prospects using creative lead‑generating techniques and maintain relationships with Centers of Influence • Develop call plans, follow‑up strategies, and apply time and territory management techniques • Process work orders and complete all required paperwork according to standardized procedures • Encouraging collaborative team environment with on‑the‑job and cross‑training opportunities

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred. Candidates need at least two years of successful commercial sales experience in security, IT, or related technology, strong oral, written and presentation skills, and the ability to present to senior‑level executives.
