About the Role

The apprentice will support electrical installations and maintenance for Silent‑Aire systems, working under the guidance of journeyperson electricians to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to company standards. • Install and terminate conduit, cable, equipment, panels, sensors, and control components. • Construct and fabricate control panels; perform rough and finish wiring of control systems. • Install interlocking wiring and conduct wiring check‑outs. • Ensure all installations comply with NEC, NESC, NFPA, and UFC standards. • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical control circuits for motors and devices. • Provide material take‑offs for electrical equipment requirements. • Propose plan modifications to improve system operation and efficiency. • Test installed or repaired equipment for proper performance. • Perform cleaning, lubrication, and routine maintenance; keep accurate maintenance records. • Monitor parts usage, report material issues, and assist with preventative/predictive maintenance scheduling. • Follow Silent‑Aire safety program standards and Alberta OHS regulations at all times.

What You Bring

All work must follow the Silent‑Aire safety program, the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, and relevant codes such as NEC, NESC, NFPA, and UFC, with thorough documentation of maintenance activities and parts usage. The role requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 lb, stand for long periods, use hand tools, and wear protective equipment; overtime may be required depending on production needs. • Registered Alberta Apprentice Electrician enrolled in a recognized trade school; capable of working independently, under supervision, and as part of a team.
