About the Role

As a Regional Director, Sales for CoStar Data & Analytics in Houston, you will own the development and delivery of growth objectives across your assigned region. You will grow revenues by selling new subscriptions, up‑cross‑selling existing customers, and maintaining high renewal rates, while leading a team of sales professionals focused on account management, product adoption, and exceptional customer service. Key responsibilities include driving regional revenue to exceed annual targets, attracting and developing high‑impact salespeople, and spending 3‑4 days per week in the field to coach and train the team. You will manage the identification and acquisition of new client relationships, retain and expand existing accounts, monitor sales performance, and ensure accurate use of the Enterprise CRM system. Setting individual and team performance targets, addressing performance issues promptly, and fostering CoStar’s culture are also essential. • Drive regional revenue growth and exceed annual sales targets. • Hire, train, and mentor a high‑performing sales team of six or more professionals. • Spend 3–4 days per week conducting field sales calls and providing coaching. • Identify, prioritize, and win new client relationships while retaining existing accounts. • Track and manage sales activities, pipelines, and accounts in the Enterprise CRM. • Set and monitor individual and team performance targets aligned with business goals. • Ensure adherence to CoStar’s culture and values across the team.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of experience directly managing six or more sales professionals, with responsibility for a recurring revenue book exceeding $10 million annually. All applicants need a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, a current driver’s license, and must pass a driving record check. Internal candidates must also have 24+ months of quota‑carrying experience at CoStar with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Preferred qualifications include client‑facing experience in the commercial real‑estate industry, a proven ability to rapidly grow a sales territory through new acquisition and account expansion, and strong internal and external relationship‑building skills. Demonstrated success in retaining top sales producers and removing non‑producers is also valued. The ideal sales leader is ambitious, adaptable, engaging, curious, and team‑centric—thriving in a fast‑paced, competitive environment, communicating effectively, asking insightful questions, and taking ownership of the team’s success. • Minimum five years of experience managing sales teams with $10 M+ recurring revenue. • Bachelor’s degree required and a valid driver’s license. • Preferred experience in commercial real‑estate client‑facing roles. • Demonstrated ability to grow territories through acquisition and account expansion. • Strong internal and external relationship‑building skills. • Exhibit an ambitious, adaptable, engaging, curious, and team‑centric leadership style.
