Roles and Responsibilities: The analyst collects, monitors, audits, and evaluates aircraft maintenance data for analysis reports, trend studies, and root‑cause analysis. Using statistical techniques, they interpret findings, identify significant deviations, and recommend corrective actions. They analyze deficiencies in equipment performance, materiel consumption, scheduling, management, and resources, assess the impact on the maintenance mission, and evaluate results of corrective actions. The analyst also prepares visual aids and synopses for leadership presentations and performs any other assigned duties. • Collect, monitor, audit, and evaluate aircraft maintenance data for analysis and root‑cause investigations. • Apply statistical techniques to interpret findings, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions. • Analyze equipment performance, materiel consumption, scheduling, and resource deficiencies impacting the maintenance mission. • Prepare visual aids and synopses for leadership presentations.

What You Bring

Requirements: A BA/BS in Business Administration or a related field and at least two years of relevant experience are required, or alternatively ten years of progressive experience in a related field. Four years of specialized military experience may substitute for the degree. The candidate must have working knowledge of DoD aircraft maintenance data—preferably for A‑10, F‑16, C‑5, C‑17, C‑130, and/or F‑15 aircraft systems—and must hold an active Secret clearance or be able to obtain one. Preferred Skills: Experience as a 2R0X1 Maintenance Management Analyst and familiarity with common Government Maintenance Information Systems and data‑mining software are valued. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and similar database/analysis/reporting tools is highly desired. The analyst should be able to establish priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally with all organizational levels. Knowledge of Air Force or civilian technical manuals, policies, regulations, and a Six Sigma Green Belt or comparable certification are considered advantageous. • Require BA/BS in Business Administration or 10 years progressive experience; 2 years relevant experience preferred. • Possess working knowledge of DoD aircraft maintenance data for A‑10, F‑16, C‑5, C‑17, C‑130, and/or F‑15 systems. • Hold an active Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain one. • Preferred experience as a 2R0X1 Maintenance Management Analyst with familiarity with government maintenance information systems. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and database/analysis/reporting software. • Able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and communicate effectively at all organizational levels. • Six Sigma Green Belt or similar certification is a plus.
