About the Role
• Provide strategic commercial assessments, including contract strategy, route to market, and risk‑sharing aspects. • Conduct supply chain risk assessments and analyze findings to develop mitigation strategies. • Deliver excellent client liaison and build professional relationships with key client stakeholders. • Support business development by identifying opportunities and contributing to bid activities. • Conduct research, analysis, generate creative ideas, optioneering, and deliver high‑quality presentations and reports. • Be digitally savvy and explore Mace’s digital opportunities. • Manage multiple short‑term commissions concurrently, demonstrating flexibility and agility. • Contribute consultancy expertise across major project and programme delivery while embodying Mace values. • Share knowledge, upskill colleagues, and mentor junior staff within the Advisory Services Centre of Excellence. • Apply technical knowledge to emerging technologies and processes.

The role focuses on service excellence, continuous improvement, and product development. Ideal candidates have strategic advisory capability across service lines and specialize in one or more areas such as strategy and investment, construction and productivity, strategic development, asset and portfolio performance, commercial and delivery, or change and transformation. Post‑graduate experience in offering strategic advice to clients in a consultancy business. This may be as part of project and programme management roles but candidates will be able to demonstrate they can work strategically with high levels of complexity and uncertainty. • Apply change management and transformation experience (e.g., operating model, organisation development, skills transfer). • Communicate complex topics clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences. • Possess in‑depth knowledge of one or more property and infrastructure sectors (e.g., aviation, rail, roads, healthcare, nuclear, utilities, energy transition, government). • Thrive in uncertainty, self‑motivate to learn new skills and pursue varied opportunities. • Excel in stakeholder engagement and client relationship management. • Undertake domestic and international travel; obtain relevant security clearances as needed. • Pursue high‑level capability in a specialist subject area. • Apply skills across multiple sectors or global hubs.
