About the Role
The Senior Scheduler will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of project schedules, ensuring alignment with corporate planning standards and compliance across all activities. This includes directing scheduling processes, supervising a scheduling team, and mentoring field personnel to maintain a collaborative and well‑resourced workforce. • Oversee all planning and scheduling activities for data center projects. • Plan, coordinate, supervise, and direct scheduling processes. • Ensure corporate planning standards and schedule compliance. • Supervise and mentor the scheduling team and field personnel. • Foster teamwork and provide resources and support to crews. • Provide work direction, performance evaluations, and hiring input. • Implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety Program on site. • Manage open shop and union issues.

What You Bring
Mortenson’s Data Center Structured Cabling Team is looking for a Senior Scheduler to provide routine oversight of planning and scheduling activities. The role requires interacting with staff at all levels in a dynamic environment while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. Positions are available in Los Angeles, Wisconsin, Arizona, Texas, or remotely with required travel and 100% onsite rotation. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related discipline and possess at least six years of construction experience or an equivalent blend of training. The role demands strong expertise in Primavera P6, solid knowledge of construction sequencing, 4D visual planning, and the ability to interpret plans and specifications, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position, and applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Job postings typically remain open for a minimum of five days, with an average duration of 44 days. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Civil, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • Minimum six years of construction experience or equivalent training. • Proficiency with Primavera P6 scheduling software. • Strong understanding of construction practices, project sequencing, and 4D visual planning. • Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications. • Basic knowledge of project management, contracts, cost‑loaded schedules, and claims avoidance. • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively in cross‑functional teams. • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.

Benefits
Compensation ranges from $102,000 to $137,700, with higher ranges for certain locations, and is determined by knowledge, skill, experience, and internal equity.
