About the Role

As a Senior Electrical Designer, you will lead and coordinate electrical design efforts on large data‑center and technology projects, ensuring code compliance, schedule adherence, and high‑quality documentation throughout schematic design and contract phases. You will work closely with project managers, multidisciplinary teams, and governing agencies to deliver resilient, efficient solutions. • Provide electrical design and coordinate the design team on large data‑center/technology/media/telecommunication (TMT) projects through schematic design development and contract document phases. • Establish meetings and participate in reviews with governing agencies to ensure code compliance. • Coordinate workload to meet document schedule deadlines. • Conduct on‑site work sessions with the Project Manager and other disciplines. • Review electrical documents for conflicts across all disciplines. • Write and edit electrical specifications and select equipment, systems, and devices. • Assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders, incorporating agreed‑upon changes into project documents. • Provide construction contract administration as needed. • Perform QA/QC on the work of other electrical engineers, coordinators, or technicians.

What You Bring

We seek candidates with at least five years of electrical design experience on data‑center or TMT projects in North America, a bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering, and an Engineer‑in‑Training certification. Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI, EasyPower, and Microsoft Office, as well as a desire for professional growth and commitment to our employee‑owned culture, are essential. • Minimum five years’ experience in electrical design of data‑center and/or TMT projects in North America (lighting, power, systems). • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an electrical emphasis. • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification. • Prior internship experience (beneficial). • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI, EasyPower, and Microsoft Office.
